In cooperation with the Bureau International des Expositions (BIE) Floriade 2012 is expanding their International Horticultural World Exhibition to a World Thematic Exhibition. Floriade 2012 starts a scientific support program with substantive dialogue on issues of great social importance, related to horticulture and green structures in cities named: Floriade Dialogue 2009-2012. An invited group of professionals within the field of science, business and government authorities have been invited to discuss interdisciplinary and intercultural topics which are based on sustainable development. Invitations have been sent to specialists active in the following fields: City Development, Water Management and Landscape Architecture.
